WOODLAND LANDOWNER WORKSHOP

Saturday, July 17th from 9am to noon at Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site

Learn all about invasive woodland plant species, edge habitat, new programs available to woodland landowners, and see demonstrations of invasive plant removal.  Speakers include: Roger Jansen of the IDNR, Kenton Macy of the NRCS, Nancy Pals of the Coles County SWCD, and the Coles County SWCD Invasive Team.  Exhibitors will include the Lincoln Heritage Chapter of Pheasants Forever and Embarras Valley QUWF.  The workshop is free (donations to the Partnership for Healthy Forests will be accepted) and is open to all.  Please contact the SWCD to register for the program.
