Learn more about how to incorporate agriculture into your classroom with this fun and engaging professional development opportunity! The one-day course is designed for preschool-high school educators who wish to expand their curriculum to include topics related to agriculture – the world’s food and fiber system. The course focuses on how to integrate available resources and hands-on activities about agriculture and the environment into an existing classroom curriculum.
Coles County’s 2025 Summer Agriculture Institute is scheduled for Thursday, June 5, 2025
This year’s theme is “Roads, Rivers, and Rails” with a focus on transportation and how agricultural products get to market, both in the present and the past.
The institute is open to all educators in the service area of ROE11, which is offering continuing education hours for the program.
