NPDES Permit for Presticide Application

On November 1,2011 the federal requirement for an NPDES permit for certain pesticide applications went into effect. A federal court ruled that pesticide applied to, over, or near water are now regulated under the Clean Water Act in addition to being regulated by FIFRA (Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act).  You can view the NPDES permit by clicking here.

New Drill Rental Agreement

Starting on January 1,2012 the Coles County SWCD is now requiring a rental agreement to be filled out and completed in our office before any equipment can be used.  We are now offering a 15 ft John Deere No Till Drill, 5.5ft Truax Flex II Drill and a Woods 6ft Harrow Drill. Rates and agreements are available under the For Rent tab above.
