To All Owners And Occupiers Of Lands Lying Within The Boundaries Of Coles County Soil And Water Conservation District:

Notice is hereby given that an election will be held on the 14th day of February, 2012 from 7:00am to 5:30pm at 6021 Development Drive, Ste. 2, Charleston, IL 61920. Three (3) Directors will be elected to serve the Coles County Soil and Water Conservation District of the State of Illinois.

All persons, firms or corporations who hold legal title or are in legal possession of any land lying within the boundaries of the said district are eligible to vote at said election, whether as lessee, renter, tenant or otherwise. Only such persons, firms, or corporations are eligible to vote.

New Drill Rental Agreement

Starting on January 1,2012 the Coles County SWCD is now requiring a rental agreement to be filled out and completed in our office before the John Deer Drill can be used.  We have changed our prices to a flat rate price of $9.50 an acres with a $75 minimum and have also included a cleanup charge of $100 if the drill arrives back at the office without being cleaned.  Please review the agreement by clicking here.

FSA Announces CRP General Sign Up 43

 Acting Under Secretary for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services (FFAS) Michael Scuse announced today that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will conduct a four-week Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) general signup, beginning on March 12 and ending on April 6.  Click Here for the full article.
