Sandra Cooper of rural Oakland has been announced as a winner of the 2024 Association of Illinois Soil & Water Conservation Districts Photo Contest in 2 categories: “Close Up Conservation” and “Ag Across America.” You may recognize her name… Mrs. Cooper has submitted photos into the Coles County SWCD’s annual photo contest for many years. In addition to a long history of wins in our local contest, she has won her fair share of awards at the state and national contests as well!
This year, Mrs. Cooper’s contribution to conservation photography will be recognized in person during the Awards Luncheon at AISWCD’s 76th Annual Meeting in Springfield. Her photos will advance on to the national competition, with winners to be announced in February. We wish her luck!
