On Dec. 20th, President Trump signed the 2018 Farm Bill into law. The bill is difficult to summarize, covering everything from commodity subsidies, ag research, food stamps, and rural economic development. Overall the new bill, which includes an expansion of CRP acres and increased funding for other programs such as CSP and EQIP, is being viewed positively by conservationists.
