We are partnering with The City of Mattoon to create a Lake Mattoon and Lake Paradise Watershed Committee. The purpose of this group is to have productive meetings where we work together to brainstorm and implement creative solutions to better the watershed. You do not have to live in the watershed to be a part of the committee, just a willingness to help in your capacity.
Our next meeting is on July 8th at 6 pm at the Mattoon Water Treatment Plant. This meeting will discuss short and long term goals of the group and go over the history of the watershed. A basic agenda for the meeting is below.
