The Coles County SWCD issues a quarterly newsletter called The Conservation News in January, April, July, and October. The newsletter serves to inform over 1,850 local, Coles County landowners and their families about trends in the agricultural and conservation industries, the latest in conservation practices, government conservation program options and deadlines, and upcoming conservation events such as educational workshops and our office’s annual sales of bare-root trees, pond fish, and prairie plants.
